Use to make strands of beads for my sun catchers. I love the extra sparkle and "bling" they add to a project. They also work well as spacers in the pens I make. I probably wouldn't use them for jewelry unless I was making a costume set for someone who doesn't need or care about the quality of the beads. The rhinestones are firmly embedded in the polymer resin which is nice as they stay in place. However, the metal rings for the center are loose and come out with minimal movement, which means that the metal ring will come loose and "float" between the beads unless the beads are firmly seated next to each other. You can fix this problem with jewelry glue. I really appreciate the nice plastic storage box they came in. This allows the beads to be stored horizontally and protects the embedded rhinestones rather than simply tossing them into a large container. Overall they met my needs for craft projects and are reasonably priced, but buy elsewhere if you want gem quality beads with large holes.
