Review on Peachtree Audio nova150 Integrated Amplifier with DAC in Gloss Ebony Mocha: Superior Sound Amplification and Digital Audio Conversion by Lori Lawson

I bought this for home use with a pair of KEF LS50 and the pair didn't work for me. I found the high frequencies to be piercingly bright even at medium volume. Also the design of the air outlet is very different from the one shown in the photo, another review shows pictures of it. There are now 6 large air vents, finished in stainless steel instead of black, which take up most of the top of the case. This is a big disappointment as I think it will look much better than the picture. I've decided to give this unit 4 stars anyway because it seems well made and will probably sound great with other speakers. There are no tone controls on this amp, so there is no way to adjust the tone to your liking. This is best for speakers with a naturally warmer tone/distorted highs.
