I have a 34" waist and was wearing a 32-34" belt from another manufacturer that was slightly shorter than me . had to use the last hole on it. I wanted to order a Bullko 34"-36" belt but accidentally chose 36"-38". I was about to return it until I read that the belt can be shortened simply by loosening a screw next to the buckle. I removed the buckle and placed the belt next to my old belt, lining up the holes with the slots. I then moved the new one down two slotted holes to increase the length compared to the old strap. I ended up cutting 4 inches off the new belt using regular kitchen scissors. I used an awl and razor to measure a new screw hole and then reattached the buckle and strap. The strap now fits perfectly with a couple of slits on either side to loosen or tighten as needed. If I were to order a belt 32" - 34" it would most likely end up turning out the same as mine. If in doubt about the order size, simply take one longer than you think you will need and trim it. Everything else in the belt is high quality, as other reviewers have pointed out.
