It seems they have improved the connection where the cable goes into the headphone because the cable insulation tends to separate from the to release headphones. BUT they used to have an automatic voice telling you "turn on", "device connected" (to your Bluetooth) and "turn off". They changed it to just an audible sound. So you turn on the power, hear the audio, and ideally, you're connected. But if you're having problems with the Bluetooth connection (not necessarily Kutri's problem), you're in trouble now. You try turning the headset off and on again, but since there's no indicator light on the headset to show if the device is on or off, and you hear the same sound when you turn it on and off, it gets a confusing hodgepodge of power. turn it on and off and check the Bluetooth connection. I found this extremely annoying and I can't believe it was related to any thought. So they get 1 star for not relying well enough. I will return the headphones for something else.
