They're great, but not for a plank to do push-ups.

I work out regularly at home and one of my favorite exercises is the plank dip which is a great core workout and can shed a few inches off my waist. However, the push-up plank put more stress on my elbows and forearms. because during the exercise half of my weight is on my elbows and forearms. So I bought these elbow pads to protect and put the pads on my elbows. Well this pad that comes as a pair offers amazing protection and is very comfortable. Unfortunately, the textured foam mesh on the outside of the sleeves makes it unstable and difficult to balance in a plank position, making it nearly impossible to plank dip with these sleeves. RESULT: 4 out of 5 stars. These are good sleeves that protect your elbows well, but the bar isn't great for push-ups due to the textured foam mesh. It must also offer the necessary protection.
