I took a chance a few weeks ago because there was no review and bought this coral reef light. I'm pleasantly surprised. At first glance, the body is solid, with metal construction, has simple but clean, appealing lines which I like (I want people to pay attention to the coral and not get distracted by the light), and the LED lenses are nice to look at touch and durable. appropriate. The remote doesn't have too many buttons and is easy to use and the LCD is very nice. When switched on, the LEDs are bright and have all the necessary colors. I really like that the blue LEDs can be adjusted independently from the other colored LEDs, eliminating the need to install a separate dedicated actinic light to make the coral bright when I want it. I was concerned that fan noise might be an issue, but I can barely hear it when it turns on thanks to the large fan blades due to the temperature rise. I hope the fan noise doesn't increase over time, but even if it does, it's very easy to swap out if necessary. Overall I am very happy with it and can only recommend it.
