This is my second pair of Naot Fiord clogs. I bought my first pair 8 years ago and wore them at home every day (95% indoors, 5% outdoors) until I broke the two rivets holding the straps. I repaired them for €15. Otherwise they show surprisingly little wear, both on the outsole and upper considering how much I've used them! (See photos) The new ones are exactly the same and fit just like the excellent old ones. There are no problems with outsourcing and quality degradation. Now I have 2 pairs that need to be alternated as it should be for long wear. Before finding Naot I tried on Dansko, Finn Comfort, Merrell and Birkenstock and wore Romika and Josef Seibel. My legs don't fit well. This time I ordered Romika first but sent them back and chose Naot again because they are durable and adjustable and the insoles are removable/replaceable so I can adjust to size. Yes they are very expensive not even orthopedic replacement insoles are included but you do what you have to do. Samuel Hubbard insoles are great for me. Naot insoles are beautifully crafted from premium suede and natural cork and it may seem a shame to just give them away, but I'm sure they're heaven for those with high arches! The Revain and Zappo insoles have done a great job and made a comeback.
