I'm testing this as a replacement for the Apple Smart Keyboard Folio that I also own. Here are my likes/dislikes compared to the Apple product: LIKE(1) Backlight which I found very useful(2) Good selection of function keys including lock, iPad Pro backlight, keyboard backlight, media controls and volume(3 ) Good keyboard feel when using. Has a quick difference with Apple products(4) Definitely cheaper(5) The Apple Pencil Cap cover seems to come in handy to prevent separation, especially when kept in a bag. Long press the side button (2) There are no magnets to hold the iPad Pro base in place like the Apple keyboard. That means if you take it with an iPad Pro, the keyboard will hang down. Overall, though, it's a good alternative to the Apple keyboard, which has replaced some of the limitations with new features.
