I put this on my 1.5 year old girl as a mid layer when we go camping. depending on the weather she wears a fleece or a down jacket. in the city when it's a bit cold or windy, that's great, she can put that on and a vest and go straight and play. Inside is a fleece lining I think and it's breathable. At the end of the day, I would say yes, make this purchase. This hoodie makes a big difference. For parents too, it's not just about the product, it's about knowing what to buy and what to use it for. We get a lot of benefit if it's minus camping.
