This is not a fully-fledged Smartwatch

I wouldn't call TicKasa a full-fledged smartwatch, but it's not just a watch either. For the price I'd honestly say it's great for what it does. I gave it 3 stars mainly for the cons listed below and the occasional use of a third party app. In terms of size, I compared it to the Samsung Gear Sport. Pros: Super light, I liked the feel. The battery life is amazing. After 3 days of full use it was 75% Overall screen view was great Easy charging is only one cable albeit branded Cons: Can't add an alarm directly from the watch. SMS notifications sometimes come, sometimes not. Google Hangouts and other communication apps are not supported. It will notify "Checking" notifications, I've never seen that on other smartwatches. Notifications are repeated multiple times. I think I had the same thing 4 times in the same VeryFitPro app? Tic has its own app. Why not use? I don't trust any other provider to integrate the clock. Sleep tracker didn't really work. The first few nights seemed good, some nights seemed free but I sleep so unsteadily. One night I was wide awake, got out of bed, moved into several other rooms and the whole time the clock still put me into a deep sleep. The pedometer and exercise trackers worked well, but nothing special. I actually had a hard time stopping the mileage tracking. Honestly, for the price, this is a decent watch. If you're looking for some basic basics, you'll find exactly what you need here. If you want the full functionality of a smartwatch, this isn't for you.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • There is trouble
