Headlines speak for themselves. I couldn't get that weird smell out even after boiling it in water, soaking it in vinegar, and soaking baking soda in water. A friend recommended it after using it for a while. I kept it, but because of the strange smell and taste the water gives off, I can't use it. I'm not sure what happened between me and him. Also, a friend of mine recently started growing gray horses. To me that means it's not silicone as advertised, but I'm no expert. I would not recommend that.
