Very soft, thin, comfortable panties. The cut is classic bikini. The modal gives the fabric a silkier feel than cotton and produces a thinner, finer knit fabric, without sacrificing breathability. The waist and legs are both finished in a thin line of thin, soft lingerie elastic--the finish is as soft as the fabric. I personally prefer a wider elastic on the waistband, but that's probably more 40-odd years of expectation than any practical reason.If you're unfamiliar with Modal, it's a man-made natural rayon-type fiber derived from wood pulp--beech, maybe? It's softer than cotton and has a more silky hand. Compared to cotton, it is less matte and less fluffy, so it has a very light sheen and produces a finer fabric vs. all-cotton. It has the breathability benefits of a natural fiber with the functional malleability of a man-made fiber. This particular fabric reminds me a bit of a few old pairs I have of the seemingly-defunct brand the World's Best Fitting Panties. It's much thinner than the MeUndies fabric.The sizing feels about the same as a Hanes/Fruit 7/large, though the increased stretch means I think you'd be comfortable sizing down. I've lost a few pounds and I get the feeling I might size down if I lost a few more, though these in no way bunched or acted like they were too big. I'm 5'3", 150 lbs, most of it carried below the waist. I prefer a 7/L in most Fruit/Hanes multipacks, and a L or XL in MeUndies, depending on the cut.I haven't suffered any wedgies or other unpleasantness, and they're very soft and comfy.The pair I thought was off white is actually more of a pale pinkish color, still neutral enough if you hate bringhtly-colored undies, but worth noting.
