I followed the instructions exactly. After three hours I found that the bubbles could not be pushed out. This may be caused by the use of glue. There is also some opacity, also caused by the glue. My only experience installing this type of plastic film on a 6 inch smartphone was successful. This is a 17.3 inch laptop I have this installed on. I've had success putting plastic wraps on doors and windows, but they use a liquid that you spray on the window, after which you can easily squeeze out any bubbles. I have liquid, I'm afraid to use it on a laptop because if you squeeze it out the edges, that liquid will pool at the edge of the laptop screen. I find that cleaning the film and using this liquid is the only way to get rid of the bubbles; It will also destroy the laptop. Based on this and many reviews, I don't think there is any product that is 100% successful in removing bubbles or offering full transparency. IF ANYONE ELSE KNOWS PLEASE KNOW ME. I use it on my laptop because I need to use a pen to sign papers and documents and write down other information. I don't want to scratch the screen. This product fully protects your screen when not using an ice pick. Just turn up the brightness a bit and you won't notice any bubbles.
