Well, Allegiant flyers know that sizing their personal item is just plain silly. It's not exact - in the sense that it could be a slightly thicker/lighter element, at least on all Airbus A320s I've flown now. A personal item for the Frontier would fit perfectly under the Allegiant's seat. But. They have different requirements, size, and if they decide to be stubborn, it would not be interesting to pay for them as hand luggage. I originally had a Koser pack for the Allegiant, but lost valuable packing space because it's so closed - this Rangeland is square like a suitcase so it makes the most of the space available. I bought a Rangeland about a year ago but returned it (color was not as advertised and was uncomfortable with the laptop put in). However, I believe this is a slightly different version and I knew it would be of good quality. And was satisfied with this new version. I don't know if the padding is thicker, but I didn't feel any discomfort in it. I like the side straps - they get in the way a bit but then I can attach carabiners to them. Also, I can add a little extra protection to the way the zippers are placed by connecting the carabiners together. I like the small pocket (that's where you put the power adapter in and there's room for extra cables). You can access your laptop without undoing the side straps. BEWARE when you fill this and the front pocket (which recedes a bit - it's THICKER than the Allegiant allows for). So fair warning - this can be good or bad depending on what you want. I also found that I was missing external organizer pockets for small items. However, this can be seen from the product image and the description. I took off a star because it can't be washed (there are plenty of warnings) and I've already spilled lotion on it and soiled it :-( So I have to live with that. Haven't tried any stain removers yet - I'm afraid I have gonna make it worse. Suggest duct tape to protect before use. It was peach caramel - so not very stained but it left an obvious stain. I'm not sure how easy it will be to sew on patches because it's lined.I like it a lot,I'll buy more for BF who also only travels with a personal item.The color could be a little closer to olive but I like it - it's neutral and goes with everything and seems fashionable , a bit different Hmm I wonder if he would have liked to have colored it.
