The light is bright, temperature controlled, and inexpensive. Battery life and light consistency appear to be good. The light gets warm and not hot at all. It looks like a good field light with plenty of power. Easy to use. The light doesn't pan, it just tilts. Very tight panning and plastic so it looks like it can't be panned left to right by the camera. Am I missing something? Should the adapter loosen the pan? It feels like the shoe adapter will break or wear and loosen if rotated left to right too far. Just take a look. Tilt well and fix the light in the right position because the light is so light. the weight. I just wish the tray had a little lock or that the tray could be adjusted with a top screw that pulls into the light. USB 3 directly to the battery. There's not even a charging bay or wall adapter. Very cool. Also adapter for direct connection to mains/battery. Can be used in combination with an arrow stand like the others mentioned for workbenches, cabinets, desks etc. I wish that the filter holder or the box distributed this light a little better.
