The meter was DOA (Defective on Arrival) The meter looked like it had been factory tested as the 1/10 scale read 1 instead of 0, however it didn't work as the meter read about 8 minutes took 1/10 seconds to get it read. Somehow this erroneous counter was checked and skipped by qc even though it is clearly erroneous. The noise is very loud, around 60 decibels or average conversation volume. If you have received a working one and decide to use it, do not use the connectors that came with the kit as they are of extremely poor quality.
