Review on πŸ“Έ Optimized Arducam 35mm F1.6 Raspberry Pi HQ Camera Lens with C-CS Adapter and Mirrorless C-Mount Compatibility by Ken Arellano

Great addition to the HQ camera

For those who recently bought a Raspberry Pi HQ camera and need a lens, there are two things to know: 1. The difference between format and focal length2 . Difference between image sensor format and size2. Bayonet Type (CS-Mount) and Lens Type (C-Mount) But before we go into details, this lens can be thought of as a telephoto lens that makes objects appear very close to the camera, even if they are several meters away. The image this lens produces on the HQ camera is very good, with sharp focus, vivid colors and sharp detail and depth of field effects possible at close range with a wide aperture. If you want objects that are at a normal distance to appear, consider a wide-angle lens. In terms of history and technical information, the 16mm format was introduced in the United States in 1923 as one of the most widely used home theater cameras. Time. Focal length is the length at which the lens reaches critical focus (16mm), and sensor size affects apparent magnification. Most quick calculations are based on APS and 35mm sizes, but the 16mm format typically has an image size of 10.26mm Γ— 7.49mm. The HQ camera sensor measures 3.76Γ—2.74, which causes the outer edges of the image to be cropped, giving the impression that the center of the image is being enlarged when projected onto a display or printed at full size. In terms of setup and use, the lens allows for coarse and fine focus adjustments, but there's a secondary focus on the camera itself that can be used for fine adjustments. One or both can be fixed with a fixed focus on a specific POI. Adjusting the aperture controls how much light hits the sensor, and while the camera adjusts based on the amount of light it detects, it has the secondary effect of both compensating for too much light and controlling the depth of field for a bokeh effect, if desired when focusing on closer objects. If you can't tell, I'm a bit of a fan of the possibilities that a real camera lens can offer on a sensor, and with that lens and a wide-angle lens for these times, I can't be on the other side of the room in boring ones for example online meetings. If you're the creative type you've probably settled on the stars and headline, but if you're new to this and didn't know anything about lenses before reading this review, I hope this information gave you some idea or helped inspire further curiosity and a desire to explore. it's a little bit more.
