I love this bedding set. I buy it for the second time. The first set had 5 pieces including two decorative pillows. I washed my first set and the color has faded a bit. Our Golden Retriever also sleeps with us sometimes. The quilt has a thick celadon thread that creates stitch patterns on the front and back. My dog's claws have opened several seams. I had company and wanted to freshen up the linens because I wanted my niece and her little girl to be able to use our bedroom. So I found and bought a 3 piece set for a good price. The original colors are so vibrant. So now I have a set of comforters that I can keep fresh and bright when we want the room to look its best. I also bought GREENLAND HOUSE JEWELRY, MULTICOLOR. Both the blanket and the plaid are reversible: the back is plain red with turquoise stitching. I also bought some thread or embroidery floss to mend where the stitching came apart. I would recommend taking the comforter to the dry cleaner if you want the color to remain as vibrant as it was when purchased. I am trying to wash my first set in cold water and I will line dry on NO HEAT or shake dry to see if that helps prevent more fading. I love it so much I could just keep buying the set if I need a fresher look but my husband would probably like a change.
