I've had this scratching post for approx. I wish he would like it more but I can't fault the product. It looks great and sturdy but doesn't like a niche with a hole or part of a hammock. I also wish there were some small walls at the top so it's more secure/so it doesn't have to hang from it. It certainly took a lot of strength to put it on in the first place, but it takes quite a long time to put together so it's not worth taking apart to return now. I hope he gets used to it soon. Although it looks exactly like the pictures. Maybe better for a small cat <9lbs.
