Disappointed with many body scrubs that weren't rough or grainy enough I settled on this manual body brush. I love my long handle eco tools, they're great for the back, but when you're doing it from the ankle it's nice to have something without a long handle. The only downside to this brush is that it is very rough/sharp and coming from someone who loves a rough scrub that makes you red. The bristles are very scratchy, I would not buy this for my mum or anyone older, it will damage their skin. I don't think you would use it as a dry brush to help with cellulite or circulation. I think if you soak it in the shower with a body wash it will soften its scratch clean. Very scratchy, and again I prefer a non-soft bristle brush and this one is a bit scratchy. I'll keep using it for now. Can't beat the price. Not all eco-tools are that prickly.
