Good transmission for normal speeds similar to Cat5. However, this doesn't help if you have a real 10Gbe network. My speed was halved with this cable compared to the Cat6A cable. I also tried this on a NAS server. My read/write speed went from 900/900 to 100/200. I thought maybe it's just a bad cable. Luckily I bought 2. Unfortunately I tested the other one and got the same result. Based on my research, Cat8 does run at higher frequencies and more bandwidth, but certification and testing appears to be a success compared to the proven Cat6a. If you have a 10Gbe network and you're looking for your home and you're using 10Gbe, just stick with Cat6a. Or pay extra money to get certified/tested cables if you use Cat8.
