Without a doubt, this is a solid monitor stand with a small footprint. However, it is not suitable for large/heavy monitors and definitely not recommended for those who, like me, move their monitor frequently. All connections are very rigid. Maybe it's made for that, but I don't see any indication of it in the details or the product description. It just doesn't move easily. Even with my monitor (32 inch LCD panel), the stand cannot support the weight effectively. It flexes slightly at each joint, bringing the entire arm about 5ยฐ from parallel to my table. While this doesn't exactly affect the usability of the stand, it's visually less appealing and clearly uneven at first glance. ) and is free-moving, meaning there's no real way to get a good, perfect 90ยฐ angle without literally measuring the distance from the table with a ruler. Many coasters have it, but this one doesn't. The mounting bracket does not fit well. There's a part that slides and a thumbscrew to attach it, but this thing wobbles a lot. So when you try to adjust the angle of the monitor, you have to constantly move back and forth to overcompensate the angle each time so that it's in the exact position you want. I had to use tape between the sliding parts to reduce shaking, but it's still not very good. If you're looking for a stand that essentially holds your monitor in place and in place permanently, this stand will do, but other than that I don't recommend this stand.
