Great baby monitor product

I have spent a lot of time buying monitors for my kids and pets and this is my personal experience with baby monitors. What I have to say is that I really love it and highly recommend it! This monitor is not a Wi-Fi enabled video monitor which means for me it comes with a baby room cam and parent unit. Both devices connect wirelessly within a certain range, whether there is Wi-Fi or not. Amazing connectivity range, just enough to smoothly walk around the house with the parent unit and use the whole house. The fact that I am not dependent on WLAN has two advantages. Firstly, I can still use the monitor even if the internet connection is poor. Second, I don't have to worry about being hacked. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. With this monitor I also enjoy: 1. 720p HD video resolution which allows me to see my baby 10 times more detail than on a regular 240p display. With pan, tilt and 4x zoom, I also have complete control over how I see my baby.2. The best thing about this baby monitor is that I can see my baby just as well at night with the lights off as during the day. Enhanced Infrared Night Vision turns on automatically when I dim the lights and the image quality doesn't degrade. I used a VAVA baby monitor for my first child and it's always foggy at night when I use it. So far it has been a very good monitor!3. With VOX I can set the monitor to only alert me when the baby's noises exceed a certain level. It has 3 audio sensitivity levels and the higher the VOX sensitivity level the more noise I can hear being transmitted to the monitor. low. The video is always on so I can see and care for the baby even in VOX.4 mode. Another of my favorite features of this monitor is the large 5 inch screen as it makes it much easier to look at the baby. And as this screen is big enough and I have two kids I will be buying an extra camera for our eldest son but it will come in handy at night when it will be on sale soon which might help me see them both with a split screen . Screen option at the same time.5. I like that I can talk or sing to the child through the monitor instead of going to their room. My son tends to be fully awake when I walk in there. The two-way audio also gives me time to cook him some food after he wakes up. It's a while before he realizes I'm not actually in the room, so I can quickly warm up some milk and go upstairs before they start crying. Battery life is the only consistent complaint I've read about the DXR-8. Most friends I know who use DXR-8 don't last more than 4 hours and run on a 2nd or 3rd battery, but the Dreo I use runs on sleep mode all day and so far I haven't Claims for this point to similar battery problems with the DXR-8. Very happy with it! I personally wanted the baby monitor to do what it's supposed to do, no frills. It's sensitive but not so sensitive that I can hear every little noise coming from the child's room, it's hackproof and very reliable. I really like the range and the battery lasts a long time even though I plug it in at night. It was the perfect choice for me and is portable enough to travel with. I found this extremely affordable compared to those smart monitors, although I plan to add a second camera when available.
