Not worth the money
I left this open for a couple weeks after I received it because it smelled. It still smells, but I figured I'd suck it up and finally use it. In the time it was open, it warped and the glue in the corner came undone so the top panel and string were detached. I reapplied glue to the string and lid, and it lays flat when it is latched, but it won't be on display and I would not recommend it to someone that is hoping for a decent looking jewelry box.
- I was wondering how this would work for my needs, but it is a perfect fit. Great value and nice look.
- The compact size may not suit those with a vast jewelry collection
