Good recycle bin. Durable, shiny and reliable. I was a bit disappointed with this glass but cannot deduct points as it serves or exceeds its original purpose. The previous can was good as a drum. Each section of the trash can had a different tone. As I carried the pitcher up and down, I played various marches as a drum group, similar to what the Continental Army in the US played in 1776. This glass is flat and boring. You will never win a war with this trash can. My joy is gone, empty the garbage. My only consolation is that the bottom of the glass hasn't tarnished like the previous one and my wife no longer worries about it being completely empty. If I had known that taking out the trash was becoming a chore, I would have cut circles out of paper to close the bottom and hide the defect. I would even learn to creatively cut paper to make napkins or other decorative embellishments to save my favorite barrel.
