I was at the hardware store looking for the perfect washer or metal washer to insert into the popsocket cover so it magnetically attaches to my magnetic car mount. I couldn't find the perfect size anywhere and a few days later I found these metal plates at Revain! WHAT!? I almost invented this thing, not quite, but I can't believe someone has already created it. It works AMAZING well. It fits perfectly into the top cover of the popsocket and then the popsocket sticks to the mount. It won't come loose until you take it off, even on bumpy roads. I found it magnetically absolutely as strong as I had hoped. It is very easy to install. 1) Use something small like a paper clip or in my case a small tip screwdriver with flat 4 tabs coming out of the small holes (see photo) 2) Peel off the adhesive backing and insert the panel into the popsocket lid. 3) Put the 4 tabs back into the small holes and enjoy magnetic freedom! Like it a lot! If you have a popsocket, BUY it, then buy a magnetic mount for your car or elsewhere!
