Both grandchildren (aged 1 and 4) love this item! I'm thinking of buying a few more for my next outdoor party to keep the little ones entertained. It's too big for my 1 year old, his feet can barely reach the ground but that doesn't stop him from enjoying it! This size works well for a 4 year old and probably a 5 year old too. To be honest, even though the size isn't meant for adults, I put it on and jumped all over the kitchen! So funny! (I explained in an adult way that I should show the kids how to do it by "winking"). While definitely not made for adults, it handled my 130 pounds with ease. They come in large sizes, and now that I think about it, some big hopper balls are a must for us "kids at heart"!
