Looks good, my cats love it

*Some of the photos are older. The cat is bigger now. The ball is not included, glued separately. Pros: looks good. My cats like to hang on to it. I like that the ceiling is adjustable. You can even shorten the plastic tube to accommodate lower ceilings than described. Cons: She sheds like crazy. If you have a wooden floor, this is more visible. We vacuum this place almost every day. The fabric is too thin and when my cats scratch up the tower they scratch it. Now there are holes. The Syssal wrapped part is fine. The tower slides left/right when my cat uses it, I suppose the higher the ceiling the more unstable it will be. Luckily we use it at the bottom of the blanket. The basket is too small for my growing cats, the largest is 8 pounds. But if it was a little bigger, they would have to fix the stability first. In general, the boards are too small. A quarter turn is essentially useless. It's difficult for her to use it as a stairway to the next one because it's so small. This causes them to stick to the rods, leading to more shedding and holes in the fabric. We experimented with the order of the boards to get the best results. Also, there isn't enough space on a board with a middle hole for cats to use as a stepping stone to a higher level. We drilled holes in the side to attach this. Overall we are happy with the tower for our use. Good idea/design but needs some adjustments, my review.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other alternatives
