Review on πŸ“± Aduro Combo Case & Holster for iPhone 12/12 Pro - Slim Shell, Swivel Belt Clip & Built-in Kickstand by Rusty Lyons

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It took 3 weeks to remove the holster

I bought this because I needed a holster along with a case for my new iPhone 12 mini. I was considering returning it because it was very difficult to get the phone in and out of the holster, especially. for my arthritic hands. However, after 3 weeks of regularly moving the phone in and out of the holster, it was loose enough that I decided to keep it. This case is much thicker and stronger than the old one I had on my 5.5 year old iPhone SE, but it doesn't add bulk to the phone. The holster doesn't flex at all which is why it's so tight compared to my old one. I applied Spigen's tempered glass screen protector, which didn't negatively affect the sliding of the holster. I can easily insert my phone in 4 directions (front-out or in; top-down or top). I can use the Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter with my existing wired phone headphones in any of the 4 directions. The buttons are not covered, although the right button is slightly hidden inside the case, but it can be used when the phone is facing outwards. This button is covered and can't be used when the phone is in front, but you wouldn't use it in that position as you wouldn't be able to see the screen. Also, I was worried at first that the case would be too slippery as it's not as sticky as my old one and lacks texture, but it was ok. Also, I often partially slide the case open and use the clip on the back to make it easier to hold the phone securely in my hand.
