I have used Canon 5D Mark III and Canon 4ti DSLRs for many years. I recently bought this Sony a6000 for travel. It's a great travel camera thanks to its relatively small size and weight. Fast focusing makes taking photos easier. Easily transfer photos from your camera to your phone after downloading the app and completing setup. All in all it's not that bad. I have 5 complaints: 1. SD card slot design is not very user friendly. It is difficult to get the SD card out of the slot.2. Write speed is noticeably slower. I'm using a SanDisk Extreme Pro 128GB SDXC UHS-I card. max speed for the card is 95 MB/s. But I see the camera screen freezes for 1/2 second during recording/saving.3. The collar comes with the box - it's a joke. The edges and the material are so hard that they can scratch the skin. To replace it I need to buy a third party strap. Can't believe such a good camera came with such a crappy lanyard.4. There is no cover for the camera body and no cover for the back of the lens.5. The battery life sucks. I need to get extra batteries.
