For a digital action camera designed for kids, this is a fun gadget. Colors and styling are spot on, the waterproof case stays secure in use, and there are multiple modes to hold the camera or plug into anything. It would be nice if there were diagrams in the box of using the camera mount on different objects. There is a video on the product page showing how to connect the camera to the helmet, but it's useless if the item is a gift. The camera is really easy to use and switch between camera and video by just pressing the appropriate button on top of the camera. Easy enough for a 6 year old to figure out quickly. The photo and video quality is decent, they're not the best, but for the price you get fun results. We are a little disappointed with the bracket that is connected to the handlebars of the children's bike. The connection that should keep the camera steady isn't tight enough, a good bike will bounce and the camera will tilt (as seen in the photo). We solved the problem by adding a thin pad. If you record a longer video, the camera will store files for about 10 minutes. Although sometimes the camera doesn't record the last bit and we skip part of our video. We checked and the battery was fine, but when we tried to stop the video it was already off. We enjoy experimenting and seeing the world from our children's perspective through the photos and videos they capture with this camera.
