I took a chance and bought them on the spur of the moment for a walking holiday. I needed something light and compact. These shoes were a very pleasant surprise. They took me through the streets of San Francisco, through the valleys of Napa and Sonoma, through Yosemite on foot, through the streets of Hollywood and Beverly Hills, and finally through Little Italy to San Diego. They felt comfortable from the start and survived four plane flights, three hotel stays and two train journeys. You have exceeded my expectations in all areas. They came home dirty but were washed and prepared for our next trip.
