so far so good test but problem with zip

one zip has problems which i suspect will get worse but i don't have time to exchange this tent as i urgently need it for travel. I love this type of tent but will update my review if there are any issues. What I really like about this tent compared to other very similar pop up tents is the full rain coverage. I don't expect great water resistance from cheap tents, but full rain cover and the ability to put a cot in this large tent can minimize rain issues. and although it leaked a lot and had problems like bad zipper and structure, broke once which took many hours to repair (if the top screw falls out the whole frame is gone, this screw is very difficult to put back in) - I still really liked this type of pop up tent. This other similar tent did not have a full raincover and was great for typical dry California summer camping, but rainwater did seep into the zippers, seams and corners not covered by the flysheet/floor so the next tent had a full raincover and raincover. .I also like this type of tent because it is quick to set up, does not require fiddling with poles and does not require fiddling with a rain cover separately, which is very convenient for solo camping in such a large tent. You arrive somewhere tired, quickly set up this tent and you have a shelter. This can be especially handy if it's already raining - good luck setting up a regular tent without getting it wet, especially as most modern tents have a mesh top which will get the tent wet. I had an expensive Marmot tent of a similar size and while it was great I almost never used it as it was time consuming to set up and I just pitched my cheap leaky pop up tent unless it was blown with strong expected rain. .I love the colors, they go well with nature, the pre-attached guy lines and the reflective strips on 2 sides. Another pleasant surprise was the very minimal odor from the new tent, I am sensitive and very allergic to chemical odors - this was not a problem.
