Review on Luxrite LR31822 14W LED Dimmable Bulb by Mike Davis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm hoping for good colors for 14 years instead of our typical 3 years for dimmers

5 stars. updated when there are surprises based solely on first impressions =1. very well packaged, even at the bottom for a change = no delay in attacking this project, no frustration with breakage. I needed all 42. seems solidly built, good weight, as it has been for decades3. sleek, bespoke features are welcome in any high quality R40 Downlight4 reflector. Confirmed Dimming - Important for much longer life, rating up to x3 when dimmer goes from dim to bright, never on-off, bumps shortening lamp life. Warning: Do not be fooled by sales/packaging reports about the comparable lifespan of other types of lamps, e.g. B. 0.7 incandescent lamps. Years Halogen 0.9 years (they can easily last 3 times longer with dimmer as described above) HID 9.1 years (if HID=quartz metal halide is used in real world twilight and sunset lighting then I can 3 - 4 years report max nobody uses low pressure sodium lasts ugly drab colors except city streets) CFL 7.4 years (haha they assume x8-x15 filament life - see shock absorbers ON-OFF) Fluorescent 18.2 year old bulbs (wow where have they been all my life? with everyday use 3 years is best; if only used on special occasions "7.4 years" could be within reach; all fluorescent bulbs are best left on as long as you can save higher replacement cost than lower electricity cost so buy and place when you get the chance) 22.8 year LEDs (hahaha, the former not only didn't match the advertised colors, they failed each other and were very b short lived; They are now popular in new builds for saving parts/maintenance, improving production methods for profit, they can now color match and last longer if done well; Most experts agree that 14 years may be the longest lifespan and dimmers of this type have negligible lifespans.)
