I turned it on and it's very loud. I got over it and connected it to my phone which was very easy. You can adjust the volume when playing music etc, so I figured this would also adjust the volume of the voice. I listened quietly to the music and went to get the mail. Without thinking, I took my cell phone with me. When I got back to the house, I heard "BLUETOOTH CONNECTED!" in a VERY loud male voice from another room. I almost pissed myself. I'm pretty sure the aliens on Mars heard my bluetooth is now connected. The quality of the speaker is pretty good, for the price it's great. There's an indicator on the back, so I don't know why it should speak at max volume, but it works. I'm not sure I like this part as I'll probably turn it on and off randomly throughout the day and I'll have to get used to it talking VERY LOUD when I connect Bluetooth to it.
