not quite the same

is slightly different. I don't know why, but that's different than 100 packs of the 'alleged' same product. I have a TP3854-100 box and a TP3854-200 box. A 100 pack is a heavier laminate and feels a bit "sticky" when you start pulling it apart, which I LOVE. This helps keep my document in place better. Pack 200 is definitely thinner than laminate and doesn't stick at all. My document sometimes slides (with a slight draft) between two sheets, sometimes causing wrinkles in the finished product, and sometimes the document is misaligned so the laminate doesn't have a smooth edge. It's a decent product though, but in the future I'll spend a little more and only buy 100 packs. I did this comparison test twice. The only difference I can tell is that the 200 pack was made in 2013 and the 100 pack was made in 2011. If I get a newer pack of 100 I might see a similar issue, IDK on that.

Pros
  • Do not clean the bags before laminating, test a small amount in the corner before use, especially important documents, and do not use acetone
Cons
  • Long delivery time
