I drive a 'work truck' and need durable waterproof seat covers. My last set was from Duluth Trading - they were versatile but had a tough waterproof lining and the material was their extremely durable "fire hose" canvas. After 8 years they were worn out and I thought I might switch to skinny cases. I chose Carhart because of the reviews and because I expected a good reputation. They fit and fit well enough. But compared to the Duluth they replaced, they weren't as heavy and didn't have water resistance. In fact, it is a lightweight canvas-like fabric. They may be suitable for light everyday riders, but I don't see them as durable as what I've used. I should probably return them and order more from Duluth, but I'm too busy to bother with that right now.
