A powerful tool for traveling photographers who are obsessive about protecting their images

It seems silly to review such a simple product, but to the much applause others have offered let me add another attribute / another use of this product: Hide SD cards captured while traveling. I'm the guy with the belt and the suspenders. I have a RAVPower RP-WD01 wireless file hub and a Toshiba Canvio drive, and with my iPad or iPhone 6 Plus I can back up any SD card that I remove every day while traveling. I have found the inexpensive 8GB and 16GB Transcend Class 10 SD cards to be VERY reliable when shooting with my Sony A7 and NEX-6 cameras. But during my three-week annual vacation, I remove and keep all my cards when I go home β€” maybe 20 in three weeks. When I travel, I keep my photos in one of these Pioneer organizers and put them under the mattress of my B&B. OR A HOTEL ROOM. If you stick it deep, the maid will hardly find them. I also tucked my iPad in there to hide during the day when we're away. When we travel by plane or train I have a regular High Sierra (NOT photography) backpack that I carry all my photography gear and a Canvio hard drive in. The Pioneer cards are under the lining of my Travelpro bag on board - they are not visible to any baggage handler at the airport, who might decide to look in the bag if forced to go through a gate control prior to boarding . When I get home, I back up all my maps to my hard drive and to a Zipcloud or Dropbox folder for travel. Pioneer's card sleeves fit into the fireproof safe I keep my backup drives in. During my three week trips, backup drives and Pioneer card sleeves fit in my bank vault. My children and my partner have passwords on their iPhones so that in the event of my unexpected death they can restore the stories of our happy lives. obsessions? When it comes to once in a lifetime images, you bet! I've seen too many post-Katrina and post-tornado news feeds where people frantically searched their destroyed homes for their most prized and irreplaceable possession: family photos. I never want it to be my family or me. These organizers from Pioneer are powerful and affordable tools for the task.
