stories in my head

This book is a series of vignettes connecting three main friends through neighbors' stories and a few conversations. Each story focuses on a major life event in the group - breakup, engagement, hen party, marriage and the birth of a child - and spans a 20 to 20 year period. The book examines what it means to be an adult and what happens when you don't follow the traditional path of "marry and have children" and everyone around you does. really means in today's world. It's a quick read, the stories jump from one place to another, and the characters develop differently than in a traditional novel. Get ready to dive into, out of, and surround the characters' lives as you tell the story with their life events.

Pros
  • Told from multiple points of view, it offers a unique and interesting approach to storytelling.
Cons
  • White may not look good on all skin tones.
