microSD. It works equally well in both cases. I considered buying both sizes - mostly because of the price difference - but I'm glad I tried the mic first. With the adapter, it is in no way inferior to the usual size, but I can change it with all my toys if necessary. Even if I lose the adapter, the mic still works in a different brand, even a different one. I'm now seriously considering replacing the flash drives for my music and graphics libraries with microSDs just for the convenience of a smaller size. In addition, prices are falling almost every day. If, like me, you have multiple toys that require different sized SDs, you can't go wrong with a mic with an adapter.
