Not for heat, best for gloves, mittens and liners
Definitely not waterproof and once wet, forever. I bought these for my son and they are terrible. I put them in the dryer for 2-3 hours and the inside never dried out. They also don't protect very well from the wind, but are too tight to wear a thin glove underneath. I threw them away and bought something new.
