I bought these shoes for my husband who has Parkinson's disease which makes it difficult for him to put shoes on and his gait is a bit unsteady. You are great for him. He can put them on easily and they have a slightly wider outsole that helps with walking. The midsole is cushioned and feels very comfortable and also gives him more confidence on his board. They also look good so he doesn't feel like he's wearing "special" shoes.
