A little background to get you started. I was looking for a suitable replacement for my Apple logo back cover and lid which had been damaged once on the corner edges and some microfiber inner edges. As with Apple's back cover, after over 3 years of usage and use of my iPad Pro both indoors and outdoors, the corners of the case began to loosen and small pieces began to chip off the top edges for unknown reasons. I tried a hard silicone case with a translucent back, but the gold back of my iPad looked muddy brown. I tried another hard clear plastic case with a soft rubbery TPU material but the outside of the case was too smooth and slippery to grip securely and the side TPU material was too soft and rubbery so the rubber edges of the rear case easily slid off the sides of my 12.9-inch iPad Pro separately when I grabbed it by the sides with one hand. It was not good! I've been looking at the ZUGU case for quite some time, but I found a few reviews about it on Revain that said the black cut sides of the ZUGU case showed the same iPad tear-off problem when you grabbed the case. Fall with just one hand. So that was a pretty big deal breaker for the ZUGU case, which Revain is now reselling for $70! I liked the overall design of the ZUGU case, so I went in search of a similar quality case that offered a tighter fit and better, more durable side protection, just like my original Apple case. Instead I have a 1st/2nd generation Ztotop case. Generation found with a 12.9-inch screen for the iPad Pro. Well, only with a slight reduction in the iPad viewing/working/drawing angles used. I just received it and connected it to my iPad Pro. The outer case material looks pretty good, but the inner microfiber material on the inside of the top cap feels very thin and not very plush, and I'm worried about how well this very thin microfiber material will clean, if at all... when it gets dirty. Most iPad sleeves/cases I've seen or used had a more generous layer of protective microfiber material on the inside. Ztotop team's solution to reduce costs. Also, I wish the two speaker cutouts on the side of the home button on the iPad Pro were narrower, as those two cutouts look messy and bother me. I think there are enough comfortable adjustment angles and the magnets are strong enough. I love how this suitcase rests on my lap. I'm using another third-party Bluetooth smart pen, so the Apple Pencil holder is useless to me. This bracket area elevates/holds my iPad Pro slightly higher in the case making it more comfortable for drawing/writing or typing on my lap. The fit around my iPad Pro is quite snug and the sides of the case don't easily separate from my iPad Pro when holding the case with one hand. So this is a very good thing/feature for me. I don't like black or very light colored iPad cases. I chose/chosen a muted purple as it is a muted colour, muted purple goes better with anything in my home/office environment. Depending on the lighting, this muted purple can look like a very muted purple or a muted baby blue in real life. which I like very much. The overall weight of this case seems to be slightly heavier on my iPad Pro than my original Apple cover and back cover. But it suits me. The back cover allows the iPad Pro to breathe and dissipate heat. This is a well thought out and great case design feature that more case manufacturers should adopt. That was one of the features that attracted me to this case. as a very high quality and well designed 12.9 inch screen 1st/2nd Generation i Pad by Ztotop. I am currently working as a freelance digital illustrator/artist, graphic designer/designer and industrial designer! So I would also like to comment on the excellent packaging of your iPad Pro case. I was very impressed with the box packaging and the overall black and muted color, minimalist design and print quality, and overall presentation of the box packaging! The packaging even includes an attached tape on the bottom border of the box to make removing the iPad case from the box much easier. carton packaging frame. Very nice little detail and packaging design in general of very good quality! Well worth its $50 price tag, the Ztotop case shouldn't disappoint those looking for a quality replacement case for your old 1st or 2nd generation iPad. Professional. So overall I give this case a THUMBS UP! Update 07/03/2020 Downgrading my rating to 4 stars. The top cover material is too thin and warps/flexes too easily. That started after a few weeks. in this case and over time it got worse. When closing the top lid, the lid bulges up at the edges and no longer closes tightly and flush. Looks like crap! As I expected the thin layer of microfiber on the inside of the top cap doesn't clean well, gets dirty and dirty and even now it still looks like crap! The very thin surface of the microfiber inside simply cannot be cleaned even with cleaning solutions. If they made the microfiber material black instead of white, maybe dirt and stains would never be so easily visible. This case requires an additional magnetic screen angle stop or two to lower the iPad screen. but my solution looked like an ugly addition so i removed it! Still a good case but with some design/material flaws.
