Very cool watch with a great price-performance ratio. I gave it to one of my kids for Christmas along with a 32mm screen protector. I got myself a screen protector because I read that the screen scratches quite easily, probably because it's a plastic screen. The watch looks very nice. I was arguing between this and the similar Casio and settled on this one based on the overall picture. I have a Casio Pathfinder with similar functionality and I like the Casio in general, but the Casio watch looks pretty chunky compared to this watch and other recent sports/outdoor watches. The altimeter is accurate when calibrated. Please note that when calibrating, you must first adjust the barometer and then the altimeter. If your barometer settings are too high, the watch will not accept higher readings. They won't tell you that. The altitude setting just won't save and you'll wonder what's going on. At first I thought there might be problems with the clock, but then I realized that the firmware developers must have thought there would never be a scenario where the atmospheric pressure was say 32 inches of mercury at an altitude of could be 2000 feet. Remember. If I needed a watch myself, I would definitely consider getting this one. Please note that this clock is identical to the "Lad Weather German Sensor" clock. This is what I call a "Chinese specialtyโ that anyone who wants to start selling watches can produce under their own brand. I would recommend going with the lowest price you can find. When I bought the Pyle Sports version, the Lad Weather version was about $30 more for the same watch. At the time of writing, prices are in the roughly $7 range.
