I have used Shure and Sennheiser wireless microphones for many years, I really like them and they have always worked well. However, I have to buy new ones every 2 years because I lose them. Earlier this year I bought a new $400 Sennheiser single and receiver and only used it twice when it went missing from a gig and couldn't be found. So frustrating and due to the high cost of wireless mics I've tried to stick with wired mics so they don't go missing or if they get lost the cost of replacing them hasn't been that great. I was about to order another $400 Sennheiser wireless microphone, but I stumbled upon this one here on Revain.com and read the reviews. It seemed true that I could spend so little and have 2 wireless mics for less than half the price of a Sennheiser. The mics arrived and I was impressed with the build quality for the price. I connected a microphone and it worked great. With the receiver in my house, I was able to step outside and walk about 150 feet before it started cutting out. I'm sure the distance would be greater if there were no obstacles between the microphone and the receiver. I connected a second microphone and it didn't work. I tried to sync it to the receiver and the mic frequency changed to what the receiver was looking for, but the mic didn't seem to be transmitting. I went back to the first mic and it worked fine, changing frequencies. This time it was Friday 10pm and I emailed support. I wasn't sure I would ever hear an answer and I was sure it would be days. Boy was I wrong. Just 5 minutes later I received an email. After another email and trying to resolve some issues with them, they said they would send me a new unit immediately. Remember this all happened on a Friday night and a new one came on Monday! I tried this and it worked great. I emailed them another to let them know the new one was working and they responded again within 5 minutes saying they would be happy to help. I was blown away by their customer service and how quickly they respond. I'll have to spend some time with the mics to see how they hold up after extended use, but so far I'm really impressed. If these mics go missing like my more expensive ones there is no harm in replacing them and at this price point it's very cheap to have another one as a backup. One thing to tell people about using their mics is not to hold them all the way down, which would be an unnatural way of holding a mic anyway. If you do this, the antenna in the microphone will be blocked and after about 30 feet you will start charging. Once you keep it level, you should get about 200 feet.
