Good Mount - Computer Accessories and Peripherals

This desktop mount is strong and durable. When screwed tightly into the table, it maintains its position and doesn't move at all. The main shaft is strong and the hand can be screwed in very tightly and at any height. The hand itself is solid too. In five months of owning one of them I've never had any problems. With this bracket you can change the orientation of the monitor from landscape to portrait and vice versa. This can be incredibly useful when working with documents, since portrait mode is similar to the dimensions of an 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper and provides additional vertical space for toolbars. In other words, it gives you enough space to cover the entire sheet of paper with the remaining screen real estate to access the program interface. This is especially true for FHD displays (1920 x 1080). The mount also allows you to change the position of the monitor. This can be achieved through manipulation of the hand. You can also adjust the height. Everything is easily customizable. Simply screw the two screws at the bottom into the underside of your desk (this will not screw into your desk, the cup-like component only applies pressure), screw the arm into the main shaft, adjust the angles and screw in the monitor a the matching holes. After that, everything becomes solid and strong. Note that with this mount you may need an Allen key to loosen the parts if you want to adjust the angle. I was able to loosen all the bolts so they could be adjusted but tightened enough to support everything except where the lever connects to the main shaft. If it is too loose, the bracket may slide down a little. I noticed that this monitor stand is a bit different than the others. "Maximum tightness" no, and"all the way" is not screwed. Instead, it becomes as tight as possible. I tightened everything so tight that there is no room to adjust the angles. Right now I have everything in the middle to provide enough density to hold everything without getting in the way when adjusting angles. If this causes your monitor to sag, it simply means that you need to tighten the bracket. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality monitor mount.
