Received yesterday and fully tested day and night. It might not be as bright as the $100+ brand bulbs, but it does what it says on the tin. Is it light enough? Well, let's just say you wouldn't want to watch it for very long. Yes, it's that bright. It has 12 different flash modes, 12 of which mean continuous flash. The cigarette lighter plug is at the end of a long cord and the plug itself has a red on/off button with no indicator light. The flash head has its own switch, which is not required. Press each time the light is turned on through the cigarette lighter plug. Once "on" is selected on the head, the power is controlled by the switch on the plug. Nice gesture! The visor straps are adjustable with Velcro for different visor sizes. Even though it's plastic, if this flashlight lasts a while, it's worth it.
