We use all of these for various garments as well as sheets. Lots of extras that we don't need in the closet now or this season and now that they're vacuum sealed they fit almost anywhere. We're using our vacuum to seal the bags, so I can't speak. to the running pump. But if you have a vacuum, you're probably better off - and it should be faster than a hand pump! It's nice that the pump is included if you need to take it on a trip or something. $20 is definitely a fair price for 12 bags of different sizes. We even put a king size blanket in a big bag. Jumbo could probably fit two of them - he's huge!
