Traditional nabe with lid

This is a smaller version of the Japanese nabe, a type of ceramic bowl with a lid used in many Asian kitchens. In this case the hub is glazed inside and out and not the kind used over a heater or even cooked at the table. But it's a traditional helping of stews like oden (a stew of vegetables and fish cakes), chanko nabe (a sumo wrestler's high-calorie lunch) or tofu stew, and even sukiyaki (lightly cooked beef served in a broth with noodles and Vegetables). very nice, i have a blue, wintry grey-beige with a decoration of snowberries. If you like Japanese stews (or Korean jige), they can be put on the table for each person.
