Works with thick cases and dissipates heat well

There are two things to note about wireless chargers: 1) Can it be charged through a thick case like Otterbox? 2) How much heat does it give off? Tests with my Note 4 so far have shown that it charges reliably via Otterbox, but unlike many wireless chargers, without overheating itself or the phone. Heat is important because heating up the battery while charging will shorten its lifespan. As advertised, charging works whether the phone is placed vertically or horizontally. Also, if your phone supports fast charging like Qualcomm Quick Charge (QC) or the Qi standard, make sure you're using a USB power adapter that supports that use. The Note 4 features QC, and the wireless charging works at a higher output of 9V compared to standard USB 5V.
